3 paragraph

In the Great Gatsby the fairy tale archetype poor to rich is displayed by Gatsby. Gatsby was once a poor man. His parents were poor and shiftless, and Gatsby resented them. To young Gatsby materials were what was beautiful in this world and that is what he desired. He started off with  25,000 dollars that he inheirited from Dan Cody. He used that money to invest with Wolfsheim  and was soon to gain a fortune out of the bootlegging business.
